Avoid this company, they tried to charge me $1540.00 for a simple spring repair. My wife and I said no, he said he would call his boss to lower it to $400.00. His boss didn't answer, so he just "authorized it" ***************** was the technician's name. So we paid $1140.00. When he left the garage still had a loud noise as it opened or closed. **** said he would be back tomorrow, and when he came he couldn't figure out the problem. Be very careful hiring this company. We had a broken spring and cable on a typical 16' garage door. Although we appreciated their quick response and willingness to perform the work they were very shady on how they handled it. The tech showed up (very nice guy) evaluated the work and provide me a verbal quote at first $399 plus cables. He recommended that we replace both springs and cables (we agreed) .Sounded good so I asked one more question . Is that for both springs and cable? His response was no that would be each. Communication and service was horrible. No one ever answered the phone, and the project took more than a month longer that originally promised.No one from Elite Garage Doors and Gates came out to check and see if the installation had been done up to standards.Parts of the installation were done poorly, and I need to hire a handyman to get the gate and the lock lined up correctly.I am very displeased and would never recommend them to anyone.***********************

5 Stars are for **** the service technician. He was friendly and professional. The company on the other hand gets a big 0 ZERO. THEIR CUSTOMER ********************** IS HORRIBLE. They do not call to inform you that they will miss appointments, return phone calls in a timely manner, try to upsell you on uneeded replacements and create a feeling that the customer must be flexible to their schedule while they are not sensitive to the customers schedule, Their appointment windows changed and even then were not honored. Will not use or promote Elite garage doors and gates, unfortunately. Got a new system in Dec. 2022 and then a replaced key pad in Jan. ** this year 2023 due to a faulty one. Was initially told it was only warrantied 30 days. **** to change the keypad was $450.+. After complaining they said the $179.00 key pad was under warranty for one year but labor was 90 days and their cost to repair anything was $295.00 Almost $300. The workmanship was horrible, could not get anyone to correct problems. The overcharged me and I regret ever dealing with them.I only used them because they were close by and it was a mistake.I could have done a better job myself and basically I did. Had to correct their lousy work myself to get gate to open and close properly.Avoid this company at all costs.

Ask for a detailed quote with materials and labor before any work is done. 2 spring replacement on a standard garage door was $450. Said the springs were $160 each because they were premium (the only kind Elite uses no other options) with a 20 year warranty. Elite doesnt do the repair, they subcontract the work and the guy said why would I give a 20 year warranty? They dont give any real documentation to back up the warranty for parts and labor.

Overpriced. Why do I have to pay a service fee of over $300.00?! Would not recommend. The service tech was rude and tried to take advantage of me since I was a female. Take some advice and just go elsewhere!
