I never like to leave negative reviews. But I was not happy. I have had several openers installed over the years and was very disappointed in the end result. the Serviceman was very good and tried. But management was far less cooperative when asking for help. I know times are tough so I am not happy about a negative review but this is how I feel. I will probably be getting a new opener soon or go right to Liftmaster and see if they will help me.

Charge to much, August 3,2022 $914.71. This job did not fix anything except some new wheels. Had to call Elite once more to fix garage door August 26,2022 this time he moved the rails and move up eye detectors and attach to wall. So far door seems to work better, will see! *******

Elite Garage door and Gate took advantage of us because we are seniors. All we need was a remote clicker for the door. The tech got here and said we need maintenance on our three doors. He told my husband it would cost ******* to do this work. He put the small tablet in front of him and had my older husband initial it. My husband believe the tech on the price. Elite Garage Door and Gates is the worst company I have dealt with in Arizona. I ended up paying approximately double for a lesser garage door opener than a competitor quoted. I chose Elite because they could install the opener sooner. The price quoted to me was half of what the tech wanted to charge. He was not transparent regarding prices, but, I should have been a more defensive customer, so bad on me. He also installed a wireless switch in the garage that required a 4-digit code. Their Tech's seem very knowledgeable but the company itself seem to be run very poorly. The initial trouble call went well pretty quick response. But the company seems to have their ********* salesmen, finding a host of issues for extra work. I gave in for new rollers since they responded pretty quickly and figured help them out as they are helping me. If I could give zero stars I would. I called regarding our faulty garage door opener and they sent a tech out within 2 days, I was really happy to have such prompt service. What we learned about the garage door opener is that it was shot and no repair could fix it. We were given a quote to replace and told he had everything he needed to do it right then and there. Horrible, horrible company. My gate opener runs on a battery. I usually install the battery replacement every two years myself. Unfortunately this year I have become handicapped and could not install a new battery. A friend took me to ********** to purchase the battery. On 6-17-2022, I called Elite and was pleased they could get a man out the same day. Very nice man named ****. He replaced the battery but unfortunately backwards. I pointed that out. Plus-- They were out quickly. They left around an hour and a half later with a new torsion bar installed plus several associated accessories installed. Door works properly.Minuses-- Never could get a preliminary estimate despite being told what the problem was. I called your 520 area code number, thinking you had someone in ********* also thinking I was dealing with Elite not **** who somehow got involved. Tech first started with quote of $1600 ? which involved a complete overhaul. I said no all the door needed was to correct tension on cables and spring. I am at an age where I do not feel safe on a ladder or I would have done it myself.
