Once they have your money, they go radio silent. Paid over a week ago, attempted to contact twice via email re: when will the work be done, no response whatsoever. This is repair work. The original installation involves several "no show" appointments, an estimator who ordered the wrong parts. An installer who installed the wrong parts. Additional no shows when the parts had to be replaced with the correct parts. It was a headache. Had us in difficult situation of opening garage door spring broken, needed to get opened.. promised to get to the job by ****. Arrived 2 hours late and charged over $1300 to replace spring.. probably a crime to over charge to such an extent.. I would never recommend!

I called Elite to assess a broken gate that was on my ranch property. Their technician came to the property yesterday and advised that one of the arms that was on the gate was broken beyond repair, that Door King no longer made that particular are (which I already knew and told them when I called them initially to arrange for their technician to visit the ranch and assess whether they could repair the arm), and that needed to replace the entire system at a total cost to me of $5,800. Beware, this company was very quick to respond on **** (list) and said they could get on the job asap. I was pleased with this service but what I did not know is that their cost to replace 2 springs would be $800. Because of my urgency to get it done, I later learned from other "reputable" companies that I could have had the work done for $240-$260. They called and said they were coming to replace our garage door opener and never showed up THREE different times. Horrible communications and scheduling. Over promised and under delivered but gave me a WHOLE $100 off for wasting three different days of my life over a month and a half. The installers were excellent once they showed up but overall experience was ***.

I am not happy with the charge for less then 20 minutes of service , for which most was spent in conversation. 250.00 is too much.

A tech by the name of **** came out to look at a bearing issue we were having. He started out by saying he could repair the bearing. He then said he had to replace the springs, rollers and with labor he quoted $2k+. This sounded absurd and excessive. We got a second opinion from another local company. The door is repaired two new bearings and fully serviced $129. I want to report this so another homeowner doesnt get ripped off.
