My move was supposed to be on 1Jul22 for a 10 by 10 storage unit 90% full from Georgia to *******. The agreement was the $875 drafted from my account to start $805 by postal money order to give to the movers at pickup and the remaining at delivery. Empire told me I did not have to be there before any money was paid then change that after they received the $875. Scheduled a move with *****. Not a clue or a care about what you tell him you are moving. Moved from CA to **, had to leave behind numerous boxes and outdoor items because ***** wouldn't listen to what you tell him concerning the amount of goods being moved. Told him I needed a 53 foot semi due to the fact I was moving a full dress ****** along with household items. 26 foot box truck showed up with 3 people not the 4 I was promised. Don't be fooled. They are fast talkers and nothing more than brokers. No matter what, they will have an excuse - even if you give them exact dimensions and weights. They simply broker a deal, collect their money, and hire a company who will every-single-time charge more money for add'l packing materials, additional cube, additional this and that, etc. They don't follow through and they will leave you hanging. Save yourself the trouble and book directly with someone else who doesn't broker out your move.

The salesperson **** asked what our budget was moving from NY to **. and requested an inventory which we gave him to the best of our ability as we just began packing. **** quoted us a price and told us our stuff would be picked up one of two days and that we would have our stuff in two days. I went to their website for reviews and they only have great reviews there that theyve chosen to show. I thought they were a legit company and *** was great at putting on a show. I had the same experience as ********************; with added Fry. I took a chance of potentially losing $2400 deposit rather than being scammed more. Slick *****. Absolute shysters.
