"Epos Now" Pros: Easy to understand reports, breaks down each category and sub category. Can transfer reports right into excel Cons: When setting up it can be a little confusing with Master Product and sub products, but the technical support staff was very helpful with this
"EPOS" Pros: it is sequential therefore relatively easy to train individuals Cons: back end/back of house we have had numerous difficulties with translating information to our finance system Overall: has helped with house accounts still really understanding how product works
"Almost there" Pros: The ease of use of Epos Now is undeniable. They have made the software user-friendly and intuitive. Where it is not intuitive, customer support is standing by and responsive. I would recommend this particularly to new businesses to establish a POS system and track their business's success. Cons: I had no problems with the software, however we operate under the Imperial system and the add-on that was available then (and to my knowledge until now) is in metrics only. "Epos Experience " Pros: Easy to use Once you get the hang of it but I am not a techie so it took me a little while Cons: Actually it’s a lot more detailed than my business requires so for me it took some time to customize it to my business Overall: Experience has been good. Live support team has been very very helpful

"A few glitches" Pros: It is easy for the staff to use when doing cash in the store. Taking inventory is easy. It looks good - and is easily understood. Cons: There are some small problems in reporting which need further work. A manual to go with the product would be useful. It doesn't link easily with Moneris credit card system with the Bank of Montreal. Overall: Inventory will be easier in future. Tracking daily sales and product sales is easier.
"How we use EPOS" Pros: I do like that our bartenders can ring up drinks at the touch of a button instead of using hash marks. Cons: It's not very user friendly. Adding stock is a pain, you have to add them one at a time. And to put in a new product is often time consuming. The products originally were added by you with little to no explanation as to how to do it. Overall: Our biggest issue is when we lose power during a storm, has nothing to do with EPOS
"Perfect option for my Business" Pros: This software did not over burden me with things I did not need. Customization made it a good fit for my business, plus its very easy to use. Cons: A few of the functions are not so easy to find, but customer support was able to help. Overall: I use Epos Now for my POS, employee clock in/out and inventory management (small portion). The easy customization makes its very intuitive for employees to learn and start using right away.
"Cobourg yacht Club" Pros: Support is great and prompt. Loved the training. Cons: Add ons are overpriced. We looked at the customer loyalty option and the Quick Books option but both required a monthly fee. The credit card integration with EVO was a complete and utter failure and a support nightmare for our bar manager. I must add that the issue wasn't with EPos but rather the dismall support system at EVO. Overall: The experience has been a positive one.
