Elder fraud. liars, scammers. Salesman promises more than the work performed. Upon questioning, He lies. salesman said roof would be ripped off, they did an overlay, There was no rain ice guard as promised. Salesman stated there would be a dumpster and tarps to protect landscaping, neither happened. Salesman said if I pass away, this is considered a home construction loan and would be paid in full. Havent har a good experience with the basement part of this company. We paid them to install a drainage system for the basement. 10 months later we had water in the basement. Had to fight with them and prove what way the water was flowing by injecting dye in the floor. They finally agreed to come and fix the issue. When the tore it up the tile was sloped back up hill not allowing the water to flow away to the sump. After they tore the tile out and laid new tile it no longer has a up hill but is flat for 30 feet or so. No gra... read more
We were misinformed about the roof that we thought we purchased. When the sales rep ********************* told us the roof we were getting was a 50 year roof - that was the selling part of us agreeing to pay such a huge price. When they completed the roof - we did get any warranty information. Four days later the install manager dropped off the warranty card and when we read the card it states that it is a 30year warranty. No customer service! We went with ********************** solely based on the fact that there was a warranty. In order to keep the warranty we were told we needed to use erie for any repairs. I called erie the beginning of June after a hail storm. They sent out a field technician who told me it was under warranty and he would have somebody to come out for measurements. The two workers got to our home in a timely manner, in fact, before expected, which was good. Anyway, they worked diligently and took our old roof off fairly quickly. Then they proceeded to put the new shingled roof on and completed that work by the end of the day. All well and good. Then two women (actually a girl and woman showed up later after the guys arrived, to clean up the debris from the old roof). And they went to work loading up the dumpster that had been placed there. Terrible service, not what is being advertised. Quick to get paid but miserable to deal with. Given the runaround like so many other customers I'm reading about. Roof is 12 years old and is leaking. Improper installation and after multiple phone calls and no shows that finally show up late and unable to communicate they only speak Spanish. Steer clear of this company.Â
Problem is not with installation or final product. They have unfair business practices.Â
I am extremely disappointed with my Erie fiberglass roof installed 6/10/24. There are gaps in the shingles over the gutters and lumps in some of the shingles. When this was pointed out to the project manager, his response was this is an old house. My home is a 1975 brick ranch. These gaps and lumps did not exist prior to the installation of the new roof.
