My brother is 90 and has dementia. He purchased an extended automobile warranty on a brand new car for $4,800. He did not need the warranty but after speaking to the sales associate he decided to make the purchase. Since I oversee some of his spending, we immediately mailed a letter to Evercare to dispute the purchase and ask for a refund (as per their refund instructions in the contract). This company is a scam and should be against the law. They send out fake warranty notices, trying to scam you into paying for something you DO NOT NEED!!. My vehicle is brand new, and still has 2.5 yrs of factory warranty left. No where do they say that this is an optional. It's a scare tactic that unfortunately probably works all to often....
i called them today because i got several letters, the final one came in pink, and said immediate response. So i called and they talked so fast and sent me over to the financial person who spoke really fast, and basically said if I dont get this coverage, i would be spending thousands of dollars if my car broke. He said he would give me a cheap down payment, but then my monthly payments would be **** near 300 dollars, i told him that i would not be able to afford those payments. These reviews confirmed exactly what I suspected. I keep getting these offers to provide vehicle maintenance protection on a car that is owned by my wife. The only "vehicle protection" she ever had on the vehicle was the factory warranty given by ******* so your offer of "updating" the vehicle protection plan you mention is totally bogus. Needless to say, she is tossing them in the trash with more gusto than she did before. Scam. Their mailings make it look official for your vehicle. Not sure how they have an A rating without a single positive review here. Read all the reviews and throw that junk mail away.

This company uses deceptive marketing techniques to dupe consumers into purchasing an extended warranty for their car. They work very hard to make it seem like they are the actual manufacturer and not a third party insurance provider. BEWARE!

This company keeps mailing 'motor vehicle service notifications' about updating MY car's "protection program"... all addressed to my husband. He has nothing to do with my vehicle and never has; my ownership of it predates our relationship. I have called numerous times to be taken off their mailing list as I never owned the car they keep trying to sell me a warranty on. Also, my name is incorrect so this is clearly a scam.Every time I called I was assured I would be taken of the mailing list. I suppose that is why I still keep getting their unwanted notices in the mail.They avoid adding their address so you can't even return to sender.
