I cannot say enough good things about Evergreen and its staff. My cat spent a week there in critical care, and all of the vets and staff were amazing. Not only was the quality of treatment top-notch (they saved my kitty's life!) but everyone seemed to genuinely love animals - they spent time petting and holding my cat even when I wasn't there. Me and my girlfriend went to school in Davis, CA and we had a trusted vet up in Woodland for our Maltese, but ever since I graduated, I had been putting off my dog's annual checkup mostly because of laziness and lack of trust. Dr. Monika Scott is the best vet that I have found so far. She really listens to what I have to say about my pups behavior and is so sweet towards my dog. I've never known a vet who calls personally just to check up on the animals to make sure that they are doing alright, but she does! I had to wait once while she took an urgent appointment ahead of Bella(my dog), and I would say I waited about 40 minutes after my appointment. This Vet Clinic is the BEST one in the Santa Clara county. I have to tell you, I have worked at other clinics before, and I have NEVER seen one with Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians and Vet Tech Assistants that are so passionate about animals and that love animals as much as they do. I LOVE this veterinary hospital. My three dogs see Dr. Monika Scott and we all love her. She's very in tune to what I'm actually saying and she's very good with the dogs. I've also seen two other female vets in this practice and I have nothing bad to say about them either. I believe all the vets in this clinic are fantastic! Glad I spoke with someone before bringing my pet here. The girl on the phone had a shit attitude, couldn't get a word out without her talking over me and she just sounded so uptight and it just left a bad taste. Glad i found out before I spent my money here.
We've been clients of Evergreen Veterinary for almost 20 years, during which seven of our pets have been cared for by their doctors. Dr. Scott and the veterinary technicians who work directly with the animals are phenomenal -- compassionate, skilled, and attentive. As a first time dog parent, I was impressed by the reviews for the vets at this clinic. I was hoping to take my puppy here for an ongoing issue that has been worrying me. I called around 12:40 pm and either the receptionist woke up on the wrong side of the bed or she missed her lunch, but she was so rude.
