We have been using Evergreen Veterinary Clinic almost since they opened. I have always been pleased with the doctors and staff, until today. I called to see if someone could help my dog. He has since this week, never had accidents in the house. Twice he pooped and threw up during the night. He has also been suffering with diarrhea. The earliest they could give me an appointment is for two weeks away!!!! Unacceptable. I realize COVID has made things very difficult, but two more weeks of misery for my dog is inhumane.
I don't like getting advantage of nor do I like getting scammed. This place will eat your wallet. I came to see doctor Scott for an emergency. My dog was throwing up for 4 days straight.. I was not sure why. He was super gassy, bloated, and refused to eat. He was also super tired. They took my dog in the same day easily (hence why instead of giving 1 star I gave 2.) Our family pets have been patients at Evergreen Veterinary Clinic for at least 11 years. Today we had an appointment at 3:00, we were arriving at 3:14 and Dr. Malena Arvizu refused to see my pet due to being a little late. The next available appointment was in 2.5 weeks, so I took it. I was very upset with them, especially since how often we had to wait at their office for over 15 minutes.
I've been a long time customer of this clinic ( since 2010 ), however, the service I got at my last visit is the reason it will be my LAST visit to this clinic. I had made an 11:30 APPOINTMENT for my dog to get something checked. Her paws was irritated and to get a same they appointment they wanted to charge me in increased EMERGENCY rate. That's fine. They never answer the phone. Ever. You have to leave a message and they don't always get back to you. Not really the kind of vet I want to take my dog to.
Irritated staff. Phoned to make an appointment, it's understandable that they are not taking any new ones. But when I asked if they could redirect me anywhere the lady just told me to go look somewhere else really annoyed and hung up before I could say anything else.
Maybe it was just luck of the draw but I felt like a number and that they just wanted my money. The front staff are kind and SORT of walked me through the new patient process (basically she gave me a clipboard of forms!) but that was about it. My dog and I were ushered into a room where we waited an additional 10 or so minutes. We saw the Vet for about 5 minutes. And we were sent out merry way. It just didn't seem like a personable place to be. The search for a veterinarian continues!
Santa here, Usually I leave medical and first responders out of the reviews, but when I see bad customer service especially when it is dealing with am unknown emergency, and you are shoved out the door like today's trash, because they want to close, it just bad business. Expensive! Way over priced. The vets are so sweet, but twice I went there to pay for services and waited so long for one of the three women to ring me up. I walked out because I literally forgot why I was standing there. They didn't even say it will be one minute or nothing. When I came back they said it's okay it happens all the time. Yeah, I wonder why because they realize why the hell am I waiting so long for. Go to East Hills or Aborn Clinic.
