The room had a lingering odor in it. TV channels were fuzzy, bedspread had a stain in it and there was a water stain across the ceiling. No maid service over the weekend.
Business response:

In response to your feedback, I am addressing these issues with my maintenance and housekeeping staff so that we can ensure they are taken care of and do not affect future guests. Thank you very much for providing us with your feedback. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better stay the next time you're in the area.
Staff were courteous and helpful, and easy access to I-240 was extremely convenient. However, cleanliness & maintenance are biggest causes of concern. Hotel seems to operate mostly on autopilot. Common areas tended to maybe once every 1-2 days. Dirty rag left in stairwell from lobby found when I left in the morning remained in place when I returned ~12+ hours later. Dried mud and dirt in stairwells similarly left indefinitely. As for the room, upholstery on recliner was tattered and in need of replacement. Duvet cover had sm... read more
It Could Have Been Better... I wasn't pleased with the room or the cleanliness of it, but the staff handled my complaints well. Best of all, they helped me to recoup my costs as I'd booked through an outside agency. They tried, but it just wasn't for us. So, the building gets low ratings, but the staff was great.
Worst Hotel I've Ever Stayed In This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in my share of them, including one in Asuncion, Paraguay, that cost $3.50 a night. When we got there, we were told that the only room with two double beds was a smoking room, so they gave each couple a non-smoking, one-bed room. It went downhill from there. We were there two night, and there was no housekeeping service. Windows were dirty, lamps were dusty, there was no soap in one bathroom, and the waste bin at the front entrance w... read more
not what i was expecting all i can say is i will not care to stay there again.
Poor Building maintenance The Ceiling was cracked from what appeared to be water damage from above. Kitchenette Counter surface was cracked. Hallways were dirty and hadn't been swept. Very dissatisfied I will not be staying there again.
The Smell Our room was ok. The thing that I hated was the incense smell when you walk into the room. And I love some types of incense, but this just smelled terrible. We opened the window to let fresh air in but it really didn't help much. The hotel wasn't that bad for the price I guess. You get what you pay for.
Business response:

In response to your feedback, I am going to speak with the housekeepers and advise them to let us know of any strong smell in any of our rooms so that we can diffuse it before guest check-in. Still, I am pleased you found your rate to be affordable. I really appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Thank you for choosing Extended Stay Hotels.
