Nice hotel in a good are. Bad service Booked at this property because there was going something on in Austin that week I stayed here & most hotels in Downtown were sold out. I booked this property because The Domain is near. I arrived around 8pm and there wasn't anybody at the front desk. I waited at least 30 min, I started to knock on the counter so that they could come out from where they were. The location was great. The price was good. The hotel was low end when it was built 20+ years ago... Now it's low end and old. But if you're looking for a clean place to rest at night in a good/centrally located/safe place then this is your spot.

It's a place to sleep It's an older hotel in a nice area of town. The price makes it affordable, but if I had to stay more than one night, I'd rather spend a little more to get a nicer room. The hallways stunk. It's clean enough, but not especially great. It's conveniently located just a block off Mopac, and there are lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. I'd say it's fine for a thrifty budge, but not especially great.
