There was nobody at the front desk when I arrived to check in. There was a phone to get the front door open and it just kept ringing for ten minutes straight before I called Expedia. They were also unable to get someone at the hotel so they offered me a refund. After jumping through the hoops for a refund and after 40 min of waiting on the phone they actually got a hold of a staff member at the hotel to let me check in. Try somewhere else... "Non-smoking" room reeked of smoke, and there were constant problems with my key card not working or doors that needed a key card not opening or functioning. When I asked for another room, all they could offer was a "pets" room, which wouldn't have been any better with my allergies. Should have asked for a refund.

The clerk checking me in tried to tell me that my government issued Military ID card is not a valid ID card. Mainly because she could not scan me into the system. Her lazy ass did not want to enter the information manually. Any illegal can present fraudulent documents and obtain a drivers license, the state does not verify the persons identity. There is no vetting. But a drivers license can be scanned and that makes it OK. That is BS.
