Nice place, bad staff I thought the hotel was great, very nice clean place. To my knowledge everything was fine until I was informed by the other Extended Stay that this location placed me on the DNR list. When I called to see what their reason for doing so was, I was not given an answer. They said there was not a specific reason as to why I was put on the DNR list and that Management “Just did.” The lady on the phone was very rude and short. So in my opinion this is a very nice place but staff is rude and discriminating.

No sound proof at ALL !!! you can hear every steps from the room above (mine sounded like an elephant steps all night long until 5 a.m I couldn't sleep at all !! Air Condition unit had moldy fungi smell coming out of the vent when ac or air comes out, made me sick!! I couldn't stay any longer, so I had to request for early check out and cancel the rest of the stay. Felt like an elephant was in my room upstairs. Staff not very nice. I enjoyed staying here on previous visits to Bako but probably won’t be back.

The parking lot was far too small. Customer service was sub-par. The breakfast selection was a few granola bars and muffins. When I asked for coffee at noon, they acted like I was crazy. Unacceptable. The room wasn't cleaned in between days. The first night there we came in at around 1 or 2 AM. Expedia apparently overbooked there rooms so we we're relocated to a sister hotel. Once we showed up to the sister hotel they had 0 info on us, and we weren't able to stay. Yhankfully i have friends here and i was able to stay with them. Worst booking experience ever.
I had a hard time getting through to the front desk to ask for plates and silverware. When I finally got a hold of someone I was transferred only to have the call disconnect. Tried again and was told to go downstairs to ask for what I need only to find no one at the front desk. All this while I have a hungry 3 year old with me. Made for a frustrating start to my stay there after a long drive.
