Hair dryer off the wall never reinstalled exsposed wires in the bathroom also no Toilet paper. Good thing it wasn’t kids staying there. Talked to the front desk she had no clue what to do

Smells bad, too closed to the office and could not sleep because of the noise, we got a room that was not finished cleaning.
Overall our stay was disappointing. We stayed at candlewood for 9 nights. The first two nights we had to be walked up to our room in order to get in because they didn’t have a working card maker... which lead to the next problem as there was never anyone at that front desk. If there was they were hiding in that back room.. we would stand there for a solid 3 mins and make some noise for them to realize we were waiting for someone. Very disappointed, dirty dishes left, no towels, the recliner should have been thrown away years go because there was no fake leather left on it. I had to put a sheet over it just to not look at it. Dogs barked through the night. Carpet was so dirty I won’t take my shoes off. Very disappointed with this Candlewood Suites and will not stay here again. I never even got a receipt for the room and our room keys had to be replaced 2x.
At least the staff was friendly.. My mom and I were in the area for a weekend trip and we booked a stay here. When we checked in, the front desk person said we were down for a handicap room (which I knew I didn’t book) then said that it was all she had so we’d have to take it. Then, she couldn’t make us a key to our room as her key machine was down and she didn’t know when it would be back up.
