Initially I was pleased to see a full refrigerator and a 2 burner stove top plus a microwave. Then I noticed the toilet set was askew. Then I noticed the fire alarm was dangling from the ceiling… but the beds were clean and no bugs so we stayed. On the second night of our stay the fire alarm went off at midnight. It was a terrifying moment. I must praise the town for their quick response with MANY fire truck. But standing in the cold while it was snowing was NOT pleasant. Check in slow. No glasses or coffee cups or ice bucket for ice when we came in at 8pm. It had a kitchen, stove, refrig and counter. You would think it would be a little stocked with plastic cups at least. Nothing!!! Toilet running all night Heat blasted noisy air every 3 minutes. Had to turn it off finally. Bed sheet soiled. Ugh!!!

I called 4 times after booking, starting over a month in advance. Every time I called, I advised I’d be a late check in. I was assured by each person that would not be a problem at all. Then on the day of my stay, my flight was delayed and the line for budget rental was nearly 3 hours long. Exhausted and frustrated, I finally arrived at the hotel ready to sleep only to be told that I could not be checked in because the system wouldn’t allow it.
