The staff were friendly when I saw them. The continental breakfast is not a breakfast. You’d do better to just offer great coffee. Skip the other items as they are not good even on the low end. The hallway had an odor. The room felt really drab. I believe you could cut the breakfast and add $10 a night and have the finances to do a light refresh to rooms and hire better staff. Those two changes for me would make this a four star.

Very dated. Old furniture. Our non smoking room smelled like smoke. We realized the next morning the smoke detector was covered in plastic & a rubberband. No hair dryer. Complimentary breakfast was definitely lacking.

Important point- NO ELEVATOR IN THIS 3 STORY BUILDING! Either I missed that or it wasn’t stated. That’s a big deal when traveling with someone who can’t manage stairs! The only selling point of our stay here was the front desk staff who was very helpful and friendly. We had two units. Both were very run down and in need of repair and both smelled horrible (think mold, must, smoke, pot, and air freshener). The staff was really great. They didnt have any regular rooms left that are dog friendly, so the owner gave me a free upgrade. The room was very clean, super quiet, and overall just a great experience. I highly recommend staying there
