Good value, lots of space, check in slow process Check in took much longer than expected and I was required to swipe our credit card even though prepaid with hotels.com. Reason given was not for incidentals but to match card to reservation?? When checking out, I confirmed no charge, however charge showed up and refunded by hotel 2 days later on card bill w/o intervention. No issue for us, but might cause a problem for someone else. Pretty good place While we had some confusion at check in -- it seems the booking agent didn't relay the specific room I requested, and it wasn't available, but they did upgrade for the same price. Apparently they don't clean the rooms daily if you are staying for a while, and that was not explained. The breakfast is a little thin compared with most places today -- only bagels and oatmeal and some fruit. Over all it was a good experience. I would definitely stay again.

Smoking/Nonsmoking Rooms We requested nonsmoking which we did get but those rooms were on the same floor as smoking rooms, some being side by side. When we stepped off the elevator all you could smell was the stench of cigarette smoke. A person that is allergic to cigarettes would become instantly ill if they stepped out the elevator on that floor. I think smoking rooms should be on a floor alone so that someone that doesn't like the smell would not be subject to it.

Good location, bad condition The hotel is in a convenient location, right on Dallas Parkway, but the upkeep was poor. Hair dryer was broken, fitness facility unclean. The water cooler in the gym and also the TV were broken. Breakfast was minimal (only bagels and fruit-no cereal, milk or anything hot). Overall it wasn't horrible but with so many inexpensive hotels in the area I would definitely not go back.

Homestead Inn- Spacious and clean Homestead Inn was in a great location if you want to go out in Addison area. There are alot of restaurants and bars nearby. The room was really big and clean. It was nice to have the option to stay in and cook if needed. The staff was very friendly and accomidating. Just if you plan on eating breakfast on Saturday morning, don't count on it.
