They were overbooked I drove along way luckily I found another room in the area

If you want to be sure you have a place to sleep at night, do not book here! Booked a room last minute for the night for an emergency that came up... called at 7:30pm to confirm my reservation. I was assured my reservation was good to go. I told them I would be there in about an hour to check in and the person on the phone said that was fine, come anytime and my room was ready. First of all I didn't even get to stay there! I booked this hotel over a month ago and the day I was flying out to Dallas they told me that my room wasn't available. So they told us we have to stay in their sister property down the street, which was in no way the same as their's. I wasn't impressed at all with any of the service. I asked if we could come back to the hotel that I originally booked if one becomes available, they said yes, but it turns out that wasn't possible smh! No one could help me. Very clean but older hotel. Staff was always helpful. The main problem we had was this was a family vacation (and the Dallas area had been hit by a storm the day before and it knocked the hotel off the satellite system) so there was no tv reception. I know they had techs out trying to fix it but it was not resolved while we were there. The staff was very accommodating and willing to help. They did all that they could . Would stay here again if we are in the area
