Would NOT recommend No was at the desk when we arrived so we wondered the halls for about 10-15 min after reading the sign that said 'knock on house laundry room door if no one is here' with no answer at the door.. Not what we wanted to do after a 3 1/2 hr car ride. I'm sorry, it was AWFUL! This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. I tried to go in with an open mind, as I used to work in hotel management, and know you cannot make everyone happy all the time, but the filth. Getting off the elevator on the 3rd floor and seeing the carpet was scary to say the least. It caused me to immediately go in the room, pull back the sheets and check for bedbugs. Insane rate increases My husband and I have been living here for over a year and a half after moving from out of state. When we first got here we had only planned on staying a month and thought that it was a blessing to be here after a rough life. We ended up staying much longer then intended but things have been getting increasingly worse. The washer and dryers here have always been under par and cost $2.00 per load but you have to dry a light load 2-3 times. a family of four getaway Not very clean hallways so dirty they are scary no ice machines no extras what so ever. Towels and bedding cheap and rough. Room size very good some updates in rooms more needed. Did not want to spend any time in room. I know you get what you pay for but think no matter what facility could be maintsined better. Would not return EVER

Overall, it was a ok room but it could have been a lot better if they put more style in there rooms to make it more cozy for the money they charge.. I wouldn't stay there again.

Ok for the price This hotel is definitely no frills and for the money conscious minded traveler. The hotel was pretty dated and had some visible issues with things like stains on the floor and ceilings. The linens were clean, as was the room itself. You definitely get what you pay for :)

U get what u pay for in a bind!! I'm not saying that the hotel is bad but i have been in better but when u r n a tight budget it's a clean and friendly place to stay, specially this one... I've stayed at others in the same stay and was disappointed. Southfield is sad, and so is warren the don't have enough towels to supply the guest.

Gross Hotel Room dirty, Blanket had stains and holes in it and recliner was filty and stained, will never stay there again. Ceilings, wall, & doors need painted.

Don't go there I have never stayed in a hotel or motel that didn't have an ice machine. The back entrance was never cleaned or scrubbed. There was dog urine on the floor at the back door and never cleaned up the whole time we were there(from Saturday to Thursday). There were bits of paper and a sandwich bag laying at the back door and never cleaned up. The towels were not changed every day. I asked three times for clean towels and never received them until Tuesday. The back door also needs to be painted. The refrigerator had... read more
