I ended up having to bring my 9mo old son last minute on the trip. There was no elevator, so I had to take all of his stuff and mine up to our room while he sat in the car. The room was barely big enough to fit his pack n play. On our first day there an employee came and told us we had to leave bc our reservation wasn’t for 2 nights. Thankfully it ended up being an error, but they came and knocked on our door while my son was napping told us we had to pack up, which was incredibly frustrating and stressful. Cowtown 2019 Have stayed here same time every year for the past 6 years. This time was the only time I have been disappointed. We had a group with a few reserved rooms and each one in our group experienced roaches this time. I notified front desk and they apologized, however the infestation was there. While I was definitely trying to save $$ on this trip, I felt disappointed with the overall quality of the room. Very uncomfortable mattress and pillows. tight space, poor quality TV, etc. Staff was wonderful though and as I was by myself I was able to handle it OK. Roaches everywhere, I woke up in the middle of the night before surgery, and roaches were crawling on the walls.
