Lots of hotels nearby, picked the wrong one Doesn’t look like pictures- more dated, smaller rooms, everything smells bad

WOW...this was scary. Im pretty sure this was a converted half-way house or low income housing facility with some rooms to rent. I did not feel safe at all, barely slept, heard screaming in the other rooms and hallways all night, pretty sure I heard a fight, banging in the hallways, I was exreamly scared and there were people hanging out in the lobby that "were not travellers", they were drinking and scared me...I didnt even feel comfortable going to my car. Stay away at all costs !!!

no heater and no hot water. Pros: the room was clean. The receptionist was very friendly. Cons: the heater did not work. It blew cold air the entire night. It was 19 degrees that night and I contacted the front desk. She said there was nothing she could do and apologized. She gave me another blanket and said there was no mntnc person on staff until the morning and that there was no other rooms available. I froze the entire night. Was dirty and smelly. No ice machine. Nothing in room. Had to go to front desk for everything. Floor in room need cleaning. Nasty.

This was the hardest review I have had to write. ONLY because I am not one who has to write them but this situation was BY far the most disgusting service I have ever endured. Reservation booked, had a sudden death in the family. I called the hotel within my 48 hour allotted time to cancel before being charged.
