First when we get there the area around the hotel is not clean, lobby there were only one person, the check in took longer than I expected, and when we get to the room it smell like pets, very old carpet and dirty, very old furniture. It was not a clean room. I do not recommend this property for vacation.

Upon checking in, I wanted to add an additional day to my stay. This seemed to confuse the receptionist but she twice assured me I was fully booked. When I arrived at my room at 11pm, the door was propped wide open, the room completely dark with poor outside lighting. After some internal debate, I checked the room to make sure it was safe. The room itself was filthy and reeked of smoke, likely why the door was wide open. The carpeting and bedding appeared old and dirty. Not a good place. I did a late check in past 11pm and the room I was assigned to was a mess. Like they started cleaning and never finished. Sheets, comforter and pillows were on the floor. I went back to the lobby and I was assigned another room. This new room had a bad smell like dirty with cigarette. I had difficulty breathing through the night and wasn’t able to rest.

There was no one there in the lobby at 11:30 and they took my reservation and gave it to someone else
