Bring your cleaning supplies and toilet paper I was encouraged on arrival to find pleasant and friendly front desk staff. However, my level of concern began to rise as I made my way to the room along a dimly lit, worn and dirty hallway. I won't be staying here again. On second day of two day stay, someone with a key to my room #241 took out of the room my loafers and white plastic alarm radio. The manager Tahakhan did manage to locate and return them but, my alarm radio was not returned. IThis is not acceptable, I want my alarm clock back. It's been three days since someone took my alarm radio and the hotel will not respond. I don't want to involve Houston Police Department and I N S, I want some action. Not recommended at all. This is probably the worst place i have paid to stay in a long time. The rooms are fairly OK, but they do not clean them more than once a week, if they can manage to do it on time. I overheard several arguments with guests in the reception because of no cleaning in their rooms. They do not have any laundry or dry cleaning service, but humbly offers self laundry services for more than other hotels charge. 2 USD, 8 quarters that is. Overpriced low end hotel Door slammings start around 2.30 am Guest in the room above me sounded like they had a horse up there. Apparently their room was larger than mine since they thumped around. at all hours. Soundproffing in the hotel is poor. Dont expect too much sleep.

Smelled like foreign cooking The whole top floor smells like a foreign kitchen, including room and hallway. When trying to check out there was no staff on the property to print a receipt and to accept my key card.

Checked out Early My room over looked the front parking lot, and the curtains would not close all the way, allowing the bright lights a perfect streamline to the bed. The toilet would not stop running after it was flushed without manually taking the back lid off and pushing the stopper down and/or reconnecting to the handle. There were spill marks downs the cabinet in the kitchenette. Everytime I stepped in the hall is smelled strange, and I was pretty sure someone in another was smoking weed.
