Felt short of expectations First off our tv did not have a working remote (equals no tv) staff tried to relocate us to different room and key did not work. At this point staff gave up and moved us back into same room with no tv! We ended up staying for 4 days in a room without tv access... which we made no big deal about... every morning staff was up knocking on doors around 10 AM- 10:30 AM reminding us of check out time... which I felt was very up tight of them when we had to be understanding about a non working tv which is... read more

The hotel condition was very poor. In general, very dirty. Room with bad smell. Cabinets missing parts as well as the Microwave. It was a cheap rate, but still, there are better places to stay for a little bit more. The elevators didn't work. The alarm system went on aprox 2:00 am. Nobody answered in the front desk to let me know if there was a real emergency. Guest staying with big dogs. I never expected it was going to be such a bad experience. I'm not happy being in this hotel for the first time!!! I checked in since Sunday 18th November, 2018. I'm in the fourth day running and my room 231 has not been cleaned even once. I made enquiry and was told by Patricia, a front desk staff that the hotel policy allows housekeeping only once a week. No phone set in my room and when I complained, one was brought that has never worked! I regret my stay in this Extended Stay America in Houston. Customer service was poor and unprofessional. We reserved a room online and got a call 1 hour before check in. The call was to inform me the room or any room was not available. I will never use this location
