Evacuating from Ida. Booked three days in advance. Called twice to ensure reservation was secure. Told yes. Arrived and was told they couldn’t ‘find’ the reservation. No apology, no follow up. Expedia even called to find out what happened. Stranded in Houston at night with an elderly dog after a 14 hour evacuation. Thank you, Extended Stay, for turning a hard day into a nightmare.

Service was awful, no body at front desk when you tried to check in need to call them out from the back office, no cups provided in room, and the bath were not completely cleaned very disappointed.

Do not stay here The bed linens on the pull out couch were unchanged, i had to get a bag of fresh linen i understood. I did not understand I had to remove the previous guests linen in addition to applying my own. COVID19 IN 2021 SURGE & THIS IS WHAT YOUR DOING? And this hotel is IN THE MEDICAL CENTER. WE DID NOT USE THE SHOWER it was not clean just wiped off, soap scum on glass door was EXTREMELY OBVIOUS. Alot of locks on doors do not work properly. We just slept & got outta there. The staff here was amazing and very kind. You are responsible for changing your own linens , taking out your trash refreshing your towels. I encountered multiple roaches throughout my stay. I became very uncomfortable and make sure that everything that I owned was zipped tight. My last night here a roach got in the bed with me! Although the place was clean on the outside the customers are responsible for their own cleaning. Not everyone will clean as they should to prevent such a large outbreak of roaches!

I would not stay here again The room was infested with cockroaches. The complimentary breakfast was a joke (instant coffee, instant oatmeal and prepackaged muffins/cupcakes). There wasn’t nearly enough clothes storage space for what I’d expect from an Extended Stay. (two small drawers, no hangars). Multiple things were broken in the room, including the phone, (so I had to walk down to the front desk if I needed something.) Shower curtain was smelling like mildew so bad it’s is hard to take a shower. German roaches are in the room.

The personnel informed me that they didn’t have any room available even though that I supposed to have a reservation. Location wasn’t good either.

Spend a little more to get something better I would NOT stay here again. Everything good about this hotel (location, friendly staff, great a/c) was overshadowed by the multitude of bad. The room was infested with cockroaches, the cleaning service (should be 1x per week) was non-existent, breakfast consisted of instant coffee (Sanka), powdered creamer, instant oatmeal and pre-packaged “pastries”, the door locks didn’t function properly (or at all), there wasn’t proper clothing storage for an extended stay location (2 small dr... read more
