There was lots of construction on the street in front of the hotel

This property was under renovation, which was not in the listing, and unfortunately I paid for my room before i saw it. I arrived late and they did not have another room to offer me for my 5 night stay so I asked to have it cleaned the next day. When I returned in the evening it had not been done so I borrowed supplies and the vaccuum and did it myself. The advertised pool was also not available which was disappointing. It was very close to where I had to be each day and front desk person Kahlil was extremely hospitable.

The property is old and in disrepair. The night staff was friendly, but could not check us in properly. The weekend staff could not refund the proper amount and had to wait for the manager the next business day. The front lobby smelled and the flooring was removed and has not been reinstalled. The exterior of the property was not maintained, as the grass was knee-high and still had debris from the hurricane. Definitely not what expected Arrived, received the key, went to the room to find it was dirty. Hadn’t been cleaned from last guests that stayed. Returned to front desk, informed them. They put me in another room but my original room I had booked was supposed to have a sofa bed. The new room didn’t and was told they didn’t have any with sofa beds available.
