When we first entered the building to check in it smelled really bad in the lobby. Room was not clean and smelled really bad when we first entered the room. There were used soap bars left in the shower, toilet seat was dirty, there was old rose petals left under the bed. Rooms need serious upgrades.

Disappointed!!! Unfortunately it was not a 5 star stay. They put us in a room which was supposed to be given to guests since the night before they had problems with the room. TV did not work, no remote which was reported but a working remote was not found. About 11:30, an employee was given access to the room to use the restroom since it was supposed to be vacant which caught Us off guard. Hotel felt very short of expectation. I like the room, but “included” internet was borderline (to make you spend on the faster optional service), and constantly you have to reload in. Breakfast was not “Continental” as described, but some cheap take away muffins. Then my room was not cleaned (saying it was extra) for the entire week… So overall I felt the place was about trying to get as many dollars as they can, rather than taking care of customers.

I drove four hours expecting to have a room but show up to just be told “we are booked and you have no room available”. No apology, no call to let me know before I got there, nothing!! Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Had to try to find a hotel at 9 at night in a city I have never been before. I used to like this hotel but we will never stay again!

NEVER AGAIN It was terrible having to walk into the bathroom and having to see ROACHES all over the counter that was just GROSS!!! that NOT being bad enough your hotel “WAS” pet friendly and they charged me an extra $29.99 that’s just crazy! I wouldn’t of mind paying it if the room was actually CLEAN and with NO roaches!! That just ruined all of my weekend! How can you run a business like that???

My husband was travelling to Houston for a new job and we did our reservations online. However, when he arrived at this hotel, he was unable to get in. I guess the lobby and office closed at 11. The website is terribly misleading. Based on the reservation confirmation, it stated that the lobby would be open till midnight. That was wrong as well. The hotel itself may be nice and ok to stay in, but the customer service skills are sorry.
Not the kind of hotel you would expect in Clear La A very high traffic hotel. Lots of "party" people. The stove in the kitchen did not get hot enough to boil water. People coming and going at all hours of the night. My wife did not feel comfortable going out to the car by herself. Shady looking people roaming around the hall ways. People smoking cigarettes in the back stairwell.
