The room was clean and it had working appliances. The hotel was in a good location.

The staff was not at the front desk a couple of times that I was there, and no one answered the phone there either.

This story ended better than it started, but we had to do some work to get there. The staff was very kind and apologetic. Upon arrival, I noticed missing stonework at the lobby entrance. The host was sitting around the corner, and muffled "Crap" when she realized I had been waiting. After getting my room (I had to ask for a second card and return to ask for my room number; she didn't write it down due to depleted card sleeves), I went to the room and gave a thorough inspection before our 3 & 5 year old children came in.
