They charge for parking, which is something I have never done. No hotel has ever asked me to pay for parking. But the worst part is tat they don't even mention it when you are booking. Second the only drink machine that they have for three stores of rooms broke and there was no way of getting drink in that hotel. The shower is a handheld one only, no overhead shower, I find that odd.I also found odd that they don't have a swimming pool. Elevator was broken. Had to climb 3 flights of stairs. When i checked in the clerk informed me they over booled amd referred me down the road and after a bunch of arguing she realized she had the wrong mrs nichols.

A good nights rest. Very good stay, good value for basic facilities so close to the river, nothing fancy schmancy. The check in hotel clerk was friendly and helpful. I was simply looking for a decent place to stay overnight, in proximity to my appointment so i wouldnt be late, didnt want to spend a lot. This worked.

Elevator was out. Vending machines don't take cash--credit card only--and that didn't work either! No plates, silverware or glasses, or ice in room. No ice available at all. Front desk clerk was precious--she gave me ice and a cold bottle of water from the staff refrigerator, which was a Godsend! I appreciated that so much!
