It took a little longer to check in compared to other hotels. There where quite a few things to sign, but I think that’s just because it was an ‘extended stay’. Alex was very friendly at the front desk and Lisa made sure my room was clean and spotless.

I booked for two nights. Extended Stay contacted me prior to check-in to indicate they were overbooked for the first night. Rather than leave me without accommodation they proactively found me a room at a nearby comparable hotel, made the reservation and picked up the cost of that first night. I was surprised and happy with this level of service.

No elevator and the lobby was 8 steps up to the 2nd floor, 8 steps down to the first floor. Then there was the 3rd floor. With no elevator and this not mentioned (or I didn't note it) in descriptions, it was difficult for my ability to negotiate stairs, especially with luggage. On the way out, a staffer was behind me on the stairs and rather than take a piece of luggage, he just told me to take my time.
