Looks good from outside Non smoking room smells tobacco; cleaniness terrible: there were insects; found used towels and socks in a drawer and garbage in the can under the basin; "sofa" was broken and imposible to seat; faucet of the shower dropping water permanently. Room cleaning does not exist or may be is once in a while. "Continental breakfast" as the staff told me at check in is just a good joke!

Business response:

We received a copy of your review, and wanted to take a moment to personally respond. We strive to provide guests with all the comforts of home, so I am disappointed to hear that the cleanliness of the room was not satisfactory. Regarding housekeeping, we provide housekeeping services to guests staying eight or more nights; however, these services are always available upon request for an additional fee. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. In response to your feedback, I will coach our staff to make sure w... read more

Adding to the bottom tier of my hotel experiences If you like decrepit conditions, walls so poorly insulated you don't need to turn on your TV to hear every word, think no room service is ideal, you will love this place! Otherwise, skip it and avoid a less than mediocre experience.

very bad Room and bedding was dirty with holes in the sheets. Bathroom was old and rusted with mold on shower curtain. definitely not worth the money I had to pay because of something going on in Lexington every thing else was sold out.

My most horrible Extended Stay hotel experience! This was an horrible experience I have ever had in my whole life. First and second night: Bedbugs in my room. Third night: loud noise from the occupant above my room. From 11 pm to 4:30 am, I ended up calling 911, that was when I got chance to sleep for just 2 hours, because I had to wake up at 7 am, and get ready for my conference. Just unbelievable, and terrifying!!! The dutiest hotel I had ever seen. The cigarettes all over. A nasty carpet, the bathroom did not have a door.... read more

It was awful. The room faced the highway. It smelled so badly I had to go back to the front desk and asked for Lysol. I was given Febreeze and it didn't put a dent in the stank, stale cigarette, smelly room. The carpet was stained and had holes in it. Nothing felt clean.

Business response:

Don't stay here I booked this room because of the location (close to Univ. of Kentucky) and the great rate. The pictures on-line and reality were totally misleading. I was so disappointed when I opened the door to this room. I guess I thought Extended Stay hotels were primarily used by business travelers that would stay multiple days at a time. This was more like a motel that had guests stay because they have no other place to live. The room smelled like a combination of alcohol and cigarette smoke, the carpet had big stains... read more

Meh. My flight got in late and when I got to my hotel the office was closed--lights out. There was a phone outside to call someone, and the person on duty did open up for me fairly quickly (thank you). I have to say, however, that being in an unfamiliar place, outside, in the cold, around midnight, made me uneasy. I got the keys to my room and then went across the walkway to the elevator. Once inside, I saw homemade signs on the wall, prohibiting guests from throwing cigarette butts from railings and from smoking in the elev... read more

We reserved 4 rooms with No Smoking which 2 were smoking. Two of the 4 rooms had not been cleaned at all and we had to be switched to different rooms. Bedspreads also had burn marks in therm. Need I say more!
