We DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! THE NIGHT MANAGER OPENED OUR DOOR WITH KEY W/O ANNOUNCING HERSELF With an ACCOMPLICE @ 1:30 in the morning WHILE WE WERE ASLEEP!!! We ALWAYS BLOCK THE DOOR FOR SAFETY MEASURES. So when they opened the door- the chair CRASHED TO THE FLOOR WITH A LOUD NOISE. This was just not a good trip period. My experience from the beginning , and didn't get any better. The room was not that nice, and the checking in was awful ,

Very dirty and smells like cigarette smoke. Have to drag suitcase up a spiral staircase, if older or handicapped, you will have problems. Front end staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff was very unaccommodating. The property looks decent from outside but is outdated and not taken care of inside. The lobby isn’t open past 11 so if you have plans that night you should come check in beforehand.

I have never stayed at an ESA but I thought it was like booking any other hotel. First off the lobby, first floor hall and our room smelled horrible. The bathroom had not been cleaned. The manager did the right thing and moved us to a much better room. Working with her, we felt satisfied so stayed the second night. A hotel with a kitchen I expected at least cups and tea coffee in the room. In the last month I have stayed at hotels in Philly, NJ, Missouri and Atlanta- they all had at least the minimum of service in the room. ... read more
