A fricken joke Our stay consisted of my family driving 2 hours to this hotel that we booked online, and getting there and them telling us that they were over booked. So needless to say you guys deducted my account for hotel and when it was 0 degrees out I traveled 2 hours one way to find this out and have to turn around and go home . With two young kids a 5 year old and a 2 year old. Thanks

Needs help! The hotel needs some renovating. Wallpaper was peeling from the walls. I needed to be close to the Airport, but don't let the name fool you. It's still pretty far from MSP and they do not offer a shuttle. Their "grab and go" consisted of a basket of granola bars and weak coffee. I used this as my "free stay" and feel like I wasted it.
This was truly disappointing. Our stay was truly disappointing, I worked in construction for over 20 years, staying in motels six months of the year. I have always enjoyed the Expended stays, but this one, in Minneapolis was completely the opposite of my good experiences in the past. the room was small, it had seating for only one, no sofa, the faucet in the sink and the toilet had mold all over. there were no dishes in room, had to go ask for them. there was no oven. Hotel and Chain sucks I travel extensively and am on the road 150 days+ and this was one of my worst hotel stays of the year. I received a voicemail while travelling that the chain had cancelled my hotel reservation and gave me a number to call...Problem was on calling that number there was a 30 minute wait time and I had to catch my connecting flight so I arrived at the hotel and effectively they had cancelled my reservation due to overbooking....It was midnight and I had a 7AM meeting...they found a smoking room which I to... read more
The hotel was ended up over booked. Did not get the room had to book another hotel and pay for it. As well as it took 2 hours to even get the companies involved for correcting this error and it was passed on the different times.
Would I recommend it? Probably not To start with, when we arrived the staff was very short-handed. We waited 20 minutes for the front desk clerk to help us because he was "cleaning" a room for another customer. When he finally got to us, the room we had reserved (a double queen room) was not available. He gave us a king with a fold-out couch. There was no blankets or sheets or pillows for the fold-out bed. Have had better experiences at Motel 6. Not impressed.
disappointing stay My fiance and I confirmed a room through hotels.com and paid with paypal at 11:30pm, received a confirmation number through email, and drove 30 minutes there from downtown. At the reception desk a few minutes past midnight, we were told the hotel is always booked and this sort of thing "happens all the time."
