Staff was not helpful. No pillow cases on pillows upon arrival. No pen/pencil anywhere to be found in the room.

Check in was fine, the lady assisted us very well This is an old property in need of maintenance and updating. our first room the toilet flushed once then it would not fill up the tank again - the plug in the tank was so decomposed it would not work. Call the desk and they let me know there was no fixing the issue that night. we move over one room and it actually seemed cleaner and smelled cleaner than the first room. anyway we tried taking showers and the water was cold no matter where you selected. so we would have to move... read more

Lights got cut off at 930pm didnt come on until 6am... was burning hot, blown transformer

Never again. Passing through New Orleans, this was a reasonable choice based on the event weekend. The staff was overwhelmed and very understaffed. When we finally got our room it really wasn’t clean, but at close to 11pm there weren’t any other options. I would not stay there again....next time just keep driving!

It smelled like fried fish,toliet was stopped up and the bed was definitely not a queen size bed.

I must say that this was the WORST hotel experience I have ever had and I travel extensively. First, the hotel is NOT as represented on line on Expedia. There are no dishes, pots, pans, silverware, or coffee cups or coffee maker in the room as stated. There is NOT a continental breakfast either. There are breakfast bars and packaged muffins and only regular coffee no brewed decaf. Secondly, the young woman behind the desk was the rudest employee I have ever met. I arrived to the hotel and my room was filthy dirty,(trash all over, dirty towels everywhere and dirty sheets), it was never cleaned after the last guest. When I asked the receptionist to clean the room, she said housekeeping was gone for the day. She can refund my money. It was 11:30 pm and I was in town for a funeral that was at 9:00 am. I had just drove from San Antonio to Louisiana (9hrs) and all she could do is offer our money back. We had to go to another hotel in the area that had rooms available. Taken adavantage of bc everything else was booked This hotel was bug infested and appeared the sheets were not washed. The elevators need work and unfortunately the hotel lobby is tiny. We could not figure out how to get hot water from the shower. We paid $220 for this hotel and it was not worth it.
