It’s not what happens but what they do about it! I’ve stayed at several Extended Stay America’s in Southern California and the staff is very good in Lake Forest. People make a difference on the experience. Special thanks go to Alvin and Alex who were kind and courteous to the patrons. We had an issue with plumbing in our room and they made it right. I’m recovering from back surgery and my mother was with me. They moved us right across the hall and even offered to move our luggage.
The room was big. Great that it has a full size fridge. The paint is peeling. There were cobwebs in the corners or the walls. There was a bad smell in the place. The beds are not comfortable. The trash can in the lobby was overflowing. There was trash and bags of stuff in the hallway to our room. There were cleaning supplies in the lobby.

Bathroom fan too NOISY
The staff were friendly. The rooms were OK. There’s a lot of damage around the rooms to the furniture and the carpet was very stained the first room we were in. We had to get moved out of because the toilet didn’t work. The water pressure in the showers is not the greatest.

Room Surprise! The location of property was wonderful. My big surprise was being assigned a room that was occupied! The property is older and has not been kept up well. The room size was great, just depressed with the run down conditions of furniture, drawers and thin worn towels. Great if just needing a place to store food, cook and sleep. It served my purpose for the evenings.
