Bad Experience The room is stinking and dirty. House keeping is very poor, once a week. Breakfast sucks.

Smoke smell in this hotel. The hotel rooms and lobby smell like cigarette/weed smoke, even though I stayed in a non-smoking room. The rooms are really small and bed mattress is really uncomfortable. The bed blanket is very harsh and gives blisters on the skin. Only good thing about this hotel is just convenient location close to Universal Studios.

Shoddy After a 16 hour journey checked in and found the control (dial/ tap) for the shower & bath not working. The receptionist came to the room made one faint attempt to turn it on and offered me a basin to wash in for the night as there were no other rooms. I was told maintenance would be up to fix first thing, no one arrived and the different receptionist knew nothing about it. Finally moved to another room 24 hours after arriving. Just plain nasty DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I was looking for a reasonably priced place to stay with the family while visiting Universal Studios and decided on this place based on the price and proximity to the venue. Big mistake. The hallways to the room smelled damp and nasty. The room itself had a particularly funky odor as well. The toilet was clogged when we got there and the room phone was not functional. Terrible experience. Needs major upgrade. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Far too expensive for what you get. Do not stay here. I had to move to three different rooms. The first room did not have a working AC and there was water all over the floor. The second room had bugs on the kitchen counter and the table next to the kitchen. All three rooms smelled terrible.
