very dirty. Everything was gross and stained. Blood stair on the shower curtain. We could not stay the night

When I checked into my room it was disgusting. The room was not clean after the previous person was there. Animal hair was all over the place. The sink had stuff in it. Something was spilled on the phone and walls. I did ask for a different room. This room was better, but the trash can was not empty in the bathroom, there was stuff in the drawers, when I went out to get something to eat the window was open upon my return. Never Again There were five of us, and we only had 2 towels and one wash cloth to start with. We told them we wanted 5 of each, and I finally went down at around 9 p.m. when they had them ready. I had to pick them up (no biggie). There was a lot of noise from the room above us (jumping and banging). It raddled our doors etc. We told the desk about it, and they said they would take care of it. They did NOT take care of it. Our room was invested with stink bugs. They were in my sheets, on the covers and all over the ceiling. Our room smelled like brown rice and curry. The left with windows open (i think to mask the smell). The microwave, stove and dishwasher were disgustingly dirty. There was something that looked like popcorn all over the rug and even in the hallway. The furniture was outdated and showing signs of wear. My friend put on the heat and it smelled like burnt hair. When I showed up - they didn't have a clean room ready for me. I told them I'd come back later to check in. When I did come back they told me that I didn't come soon enough so they gave my room away and the hotel was booked. The only one they had open for me was one that was closed due to a "heavy smoke smell". They also told me I wasn't allowed to eat the breakfast. Worst room I have stayed in I have never been to a room as horrible as this one. We were using the hotel as we were traveling from DC back to NYC so we checked in late (around 11pm).The lobby is very weird but we looked past that, however when we got to the room, the room smelled like a wet dog. I contacted the front desk and they gave me a water down febreze. We tried to get a different room l, however they said they were sold out. Good price, but the room was dirty and stunk The price was good, but the room was rather run down and stunk. The rug was a bit retched, but there were no bugs at least. Our room looked NOTHING like the beautiful rooms in the pictures.
