The entire property is under a massive construction project and they did not note that on their listing. Hammering, crashing, dust, debris, smells.....and rude employees as well. It was like staying in a homeless camp or town dump. I can't believe they did not mention this at the time of booking - when it's no refund rate! Desk clerk said "oh they usually stop working around 7:00pm" "They start again at 7:00am" And...the "security" doors on the side of the building were left propped open - so ANYONE can sneak in. Horrible all around stay The room size was decent (room 218) but everything else was just disappointing. The shower drain was clogged right off the bat, the noise from the train horns were constant every hour throughout the night, and finally...they shut off the water mid-shower on 1/6/20 although all signs and noticed stated a water shutdown for 1/7. Completely unacceptable. Will never return.

I did not receive the room I booked. They stated that they do not receive many 3rd party reservations (e.g. Expedia), and so they will bump those in favor of reservations made directly with the hotel. So instead of a marina view, queen bed room, I stayed in a parking lot view, 2 double beds room. The hotel was in the middle of unannounced renovations. Noise of power tools started at 8am and continued until 11pm on some nights. Renovators would prop open fire doors and then leave them open overnight, so intruders could easily... read more

I paid extra for a king bed when booking but upon arrival they didn’t tell me they were not available (because of the renovation) so we get into a room with two fulls. They then “upgraded” ya to a room with a view and a queen bed, but once I go down, switch rooms and head back to the new room, the key did not work. Back down to the desk for a second time, and then we are in. But, the window Blinds didn’t even work or have a pull string! So no view! Whatever. They banned me from the hotel because I didn’t have money on my card when checking out to pay for the WiFi because I didn’t transfer anything onto it because they never told me I was being billed for WiFi. So when I booked another night and ubered to the hotel they told me they would not honor my reservation because of not paying for the WiFi when I wasn’t even aware I was being billed for it. I offered to pay the $6 for the WiFi and they declined the offer and said they would still not honor the reservation. I still have no... read more
