Supposed to have a non smoking room, but the whole hotel was smoking. Everything I owned smelled like a dirty ashtray.

Nice hotel at the Marina Checked in and was given a room on the fourth floor which turned out to be the smoking floor. My confirmation receipt indicated non smoking. Asked for a different floor and was told that the hotel was booked. I said I reserved a non smoking room and they would have to find something for me. I was told that rooms were released on a "first come first served" basis and a non smoking room was not available. I said that was unacceptable, so they took a half hour and found me a room on a non smoking floor.... read more

This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. We booked a non-smoking room and when we arrived we were given a smoking room. When we asked to be moved we were told that smoking and non-smoking rooms were only an preference and not guaranteed. They refused to relocate us. We suffered through two nights of smoke filled halls and room. At one point we had to stuff a towel under the door to get some sleep due to the smoke filled halls. We checked into our hotel and they had given our none smoking room away so the room smelt horrable. The staff did nothing to help us out. Other than that it was ok.

I would not recommend this hotel. I was told I would have a roll away but when I got there they did not have any left. Then I was promised a pull out couch, again, they gave that room away also. No cups in the kitchen, glasses or plastic and when I asked for some, they said, 'come get them.'

No maid service, but the hotel is clean We stayed in this hotel because of the proximity to ferries as our day-trip destination was San Francisco. The room was clean and we were offered a continental breakfast of fruit, coffee and muffins. I was disappointed to find out there was no room-cleaning services at this facility. There was a flyer in the room stating towels on the floor would be picked up, and those still hanging would remain hanging by staff. Low rent uncomfortable hotel with rude staff This hotel is close to my workplace, which I am commuting to cross country weekly, and fit my budget, so I repeatedly stayed and gave it every chance to work. I tried to check in at 1 am after traveling for 12 hours only to be told on multiple visits by the rude night clerk that she was running the printer and I would have to wait 25 minutes to check in. Room smelled like old socks Room smelled, so I said open the windows and turn on the fan it will be fine. No, it didn't help. I had to have the room key reprogrammed every night to get into my room. The last night of my stay I woke to the sound of water spraying. At 5:00 in the morning my husband had to lie down in spraying hot water to turn it off under the sink. Oh, and last but not least the bath water never got warmer than luke warm. Who needs a hot bath after a day of walkin? Me!

The first time we stayed here it took 30 min to check in and my room smelled of urine. I only stayed here again because of parking. Second stay was worse. The beds weren't made in our room.
