bad night Could not sleep the room smelled like urine

Cancelled room!!! Well to start off , when we got to the hotel to check in, the hotel could not find our reservations. Come to find out that the hotel cancelled our reservations!! The lady at the front desk on Friday afternoon around 4:30 aid it was due to the fact that they did not have anymore of my rooms left that I reserved. How does a hotel just cancel a guests reservations and not notify them? So I had to get another smaller bed room because that was the only room they had left. Disappointing to not be returning We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past because of its location, the usable kitchen, and we could bring our Irish Setter. This past time, the hotel must have changed management. Every dish, pan, coffee maker, etc, had to be checked-out from the front desk and carried to our room. On our second day, a new desk clerk asked if we were staying at the hotel because our dog exceeded the 30 pound limit. We were not told anything at check in when we paid the $100 pet fee. First and last stay at Extended Stay Floor in the room was dirty and very sticky. Furnishings were very bear.

Not Clean The bathroom had hair all over it. The toilet had hair in it, and it was dirty all around it. I found several hairs on the bathroom counter. The room appeared to be clean. The tv sits way too low for comfortable viewing from bed. We only stayed one night, so we can't speak to any of the kitchen amenities. Bad coffee. Great neighborhood. It is right on the Marina. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful.

The room really stinks. I am sorry to say I have had bad experiences with all the Extended Stay. I spent the weekend at the Alameda one, and we arrived late around 3am in the morning. My room is guaranteed to be available so that's a good start. However, when I was at the front desk. Noone is there. No bell or phone available for me to call anyone. I have to call my cell phone and reach an operator who doesn't work there. Waited 20 mins before someone finally showed up. Took her another 15 min to checkin. Not sure why it too... read more

Nasty! Dusty, horrible beds, dusty tables! I would NOT recommend!!!

Keep looking Won't stay here again. Forced into a smoking room and bad customer service. I suppose you get what you pay for.
