DO NOT GO THERE! CANCER HOTEL! Where should I begin? 1. Elevator stunk from cigarettes 2. Hallway stunk from cigarettes 3. Room stunk from cigarettes Girll at front desk "did me a favor" and "found" another room. The room right next to the trash room. Girl at front desk said there's nothing they can do about making people stop smoking in the elevator. WHAT A LAME EXCUSE!!!! 4. For those who are allergic to perfumes (like I am) BYOS - Bring Your Own Sheets (towels, soap, blankets, etc.) 5. DO NOT order from menu in room 6. In... read more
Weak / Week service Room is only made-up if you stay more than a week? At these prices? Hotel is twice as expensive as it should be. If it wasn't for the location for my trip, I'd have booked elsewhere.
Hotel near marina This hotel was not awe-inspiring. Hotel staff called my room TWO times, to make sure my stay was enjoyable. How is my stay going to be enjoyable if you keep calling me? It was annoying and unexpected. The free breakfast was also worse-than-expected. Disgusting coffee, prepackaged muffins, and unripe fruit were nearly the only options. This was disappointing; I expected more out of breakfast.
Too dirty Big disappointment. Room was filthy, hair in tub, dark stain on carpet that looked like old feces, dust everywhere, greasy fingerprints on virtually every surface of the rooms. Holes in both window screens, neither deadbolt nor manual locking devices worked. Charged for a king but got a queen. Front desk actually denied size of bed but were unwilling to come and see for themselves. Locks were not attended to although we reported it to front desk on first morning of three-day stay. Complaint got a free night stay in... read more
terrible exprience. I book the hotel for two days, but was checked out 1day earlier. Terrible experience.
Needs some management help The bedding is as cheap as can be found. The bed is fine, but the sheets, blankets, pillows are nasty. Additionally, the staff is much busier with their own business than that of the hotel. Finally, there really isn't breakfast of any sort, unless you only drink coffee or tea, cuz that is all they have typically. There are other baskets put out, but in five days, I never saw any food in them when I left for work at 6:45am.
After booking to stay at this hotel I as called the day of my stay to be informed that the hotel was overbooked and that I could not stay there. I was placed at another hotel that did not have all the amenities that I wanted that the Extended Stay Deluxe offered so I was not satisfid. If they were overbooked then my reservation should not have gone through and I should not have received an confirmation number for that stay. Ive stayed thre before their customer service isn't the greatest nor the friedndliest but the rooms ar... read more
Alameda island work trip The hotel photos show some rooms upgraded with new linens and such, but I didn't get one and I was told all the beds are pretty much the same when I tried to switch after the first night. The bed was old and lumpy, the linens very old and suspect and the pillows were also old and thin. The internet (which was $4.99 for your stay) was super slow; according to the front desk the whole hotel shares one IP address...that was probably the issue. Would probably pay a little more to get a better bed and fas... read more
