The area is horrible, doesn't feel safe to even check in, any way to get refund back??

The property smelled awful, like smoke and I'm guessing all the food people were cooking in their units. There were always multiple people smoking outside and there were tons of transients/homeless around the property which made me feel very unsafe and worried about my vehicle being broken in to. The room was finished nicely, but the water pressure was horrendous and the bathroom lighting was so dim. The bed was rock hard and the pillows were so small. The staff were pleasant and accommodating.

Came in after check in, yet was told to wait while they did essentially a hand off for shift chamge, then the oncoming desk clerk yells to her manager that she wants to talk to her about something and left the desk while we waited. Then they didn't have rooms ready, so we had to wait for that. Was all incredibly unorganized and informal.
