Paid a lot more than normal price due to Twitchcon. Next time I'll book early at a better hotel for the same price. Property isn't bad but it's not all that great either. Check-in is at 3 pm but if you're early, there's no public restroom. Staff wasn't friendly at checkin but the woman at checkout was certainly friendly.

Location close to airport is convenient. Good value relative to most San Jose hotels. Rooms themselves are very clean and seem recently updated. However, there were a variety of small issues: When I arrived in the room window was open and A/C on full and it was freezing in there; I had to fix the drain lever to make the sink work, the shower curtain they have allows a lot of water to fall on the (wood!) floor in the bathroom during a shower, elevator call button broken, strange check-in procedure late at night involved givin... read more
