when we arrived and were told that they could not speak to us till 3:00. I booked a block of 4 rooms they had 3 on one floor and 1 on another floor had to wait while they check to be sure the room were ready

The room had left over chips from a previous occupant on the floor. The dust ruffle around the bed was ripped. There was only one person helping people check in so it took a long time to check in.

Breakfast was a cart with granola bars and packets of oatmeal you could mix into a coffee cup with lukewarm water. The staff was friendly and gregarious. But the place is cheap and run down.

I had a reservation (a copy of which the hotel had when I arrived) but there was no room available when I arrived to check in. Furthermore, this happened to two other guests during the time I was dealing with the hotel staff. The hotel's solution was to relocate me (and the other guests in my situation) to a sister hotel that was 5-miles away (and in a much worse location). It's a great location and the staff is nice but the rooms aren't clean. There were hairs in the bath tub, in the sink-- it was clear the room hadn't been properly cleaned at all between stays. The refrigerator sounded like it was on the verge of breaking down.
