Never again I’ve stayed at ESA before and they were nice. This place looks like people live there full time. The building and rooms are in poor repair. The room smelled and you could hear music through the walls. People were talking on the stoop at 3 in the morning and waking us up. I will not stay there again and would not recommend it to business travelers.

Run-down and tired. Hard to find light switches in the dark. Room super hot when I checked in. The heater was set to 90! I was only there one night but for extended stays, I thought the chairs were inadequate - 2 mesh desk chairs and one weird, uncomfortable recliner. The bed was comfortable enough.

Never again! The bed was very uncomfortable and the carpet was stained. There was nothing in the cabinets in the kitchen: no dishes, pots and pans, nothing. Made the kitchette useless. Breakfast was a joke. One danish and 2 granola bars were all that was offered plus dark roast coffee which I do not like. Absolutely terrible!

Not what I expected The pictures on the website are certainly not indicative of the hotel. Upon checking-in, I felt as if I was just bothering the staff. She did not appear helpful or friendly. Upon checking-out, I was asked, "What do you want?". The room needed to be updated. The location and the clientele was suspect. I was glad I was not traveling alone. Clearly, this is a lesson learned for me. I will do better research before I book a hotel with this chain again.

Convenient to where I had to go in town. They could do with more parking space. I could have done without the loud rap music in the parking lot at 1:20 a.m., but what can you do? Also, "clean" towels shouldn't have little curly hairs. Floor in front of the kitchenette could have been mopped, as it was sticky. TV channel selection was terrible, unless you live, eat, and breathe sports. I'll probably stay somewhere else on future Richmond, VA visits.

Atrocious Terrible. We were traveling up the east coast after a long day of driving & looking for a decent little place to crash for an evening, in need of rest and relaxation. When we arrived to the hotel, the young woman at the front desk was pleasant. We booked a non smoking room, paid an additional 25 dollar dog deposit and went upstairs to our room.
