The property was ok overall, it appeared that they recently had some sort of water leak on the first floor as there were 3 or more hi speed fans on the floor near the office. The disappointment came after we got to our room on the second floor. After getting into our room I needed to go down to get my wife’s book. When I tried to push the call button for the elevator I couldn’t as it was taped up! Smells like smoke The hallways and room all smelled like smoke even though it’s supposed to be a nonsmoking hotel.

We were attending a wedding in the area from out of town, due to traffic we had to go straight to the event instead of checking in. I called the hotel at 730 PM to advise them we would not arrive until 12-1230 AM, the clerk said that was fine and would leave a note for the night shift. She did not leave a note and when we arrived at 12:25 were told we could not check in. The clerk told us a homeless
