The ac in our room did not work……..we checked in at 9:30 pm and couldn’t take the heat in the room and left it was much fresher air outside than the room. When we opened the window to let some air in we realized we didn’t feel safe since the window had no net cover someone really could’ve just walk up and go through the window……it’s little things that should be functioning. Awful Key card didn’t work, room smelled weird, sheets were NOT clean, loud noises above me all night.

Had to request a new room due to dog smell. and barking next door. New unit had the door kicked in and not repaired, couldn’t lock properly the door stop was completely broken and unusable. Bed had blood stain and towels were dirty. Bathroom door had breaks in the door like someone was punching it and scratch marks in the door frame. I spent hours looking at hotels in Sac and settled on this one due to it having space in the room for my kids toddler bed, and it appeared clean, like all hotel pics do. From the exterior, it looks really nice and it's a really nice, quiet area. Plenty of space to park. We get to our room though, and instantly smelled cig smoke. lked further into the room and smelled rotten food... that acidic smell of rotten fruit. The smell did not go away. We spent 4 hours in the room...much too long. We only stayed overnight on our way to Oregon. "Kitchenette" was virtually unusable, cabinets were waterlogged & falling apart. Bed was OK for brief overnight nap. If your budget & expectations are low then this hotel may be adequate for you.

Not good Desk clerks usually won’t answer the phone. When they do they are annoyed and hurried. Room was not very clean. Bathtub was dirty, carpets dirty, someone else’s food still in the refrigerator. Toilet ran all night. Garbage cans right outside the door. Lesson learned.
