Bad stay in San Carlos When I checked in I was offered only one room which was on the third floor and a long way from the elevator. My wife who is handicaped cannot walk long distances. We were offered another room on the second floor if we would wait for it to be cleaned, but it backed on to the elevator and went "bing" all the time so we did not want that. This was most I’ve ever spent on a hotel. Not including a resort. There was also an $11 charge to park in they’re lot. There was no breakfast or housekeeping. The location is noisy. There are a lot of homeless living in motor homes in the area.

Outside of property was much nicer than inside. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Felt very old and not very clean. TV didn’t work in first room so had to move rooms.
