the staff was very nice and accommodating. Theis was the only good part. The property is run down and dirty. Extremely unsafe in the parking lot, especially at night. I had to carry a weapon with me when I took my dog for a walk at night. Obvious drug users in the hotel as well as hanging in the parking lot. I actuality witnessed 2 different drug deals happen in the parking lot. There were also women staying in the hotel who were prostitutes and working out of their rooms. Worst stay I’ve ever had. Check in was slow and front desk attendant ask to help me then walked away and dealt with other things without saying a word. Check in took almost 25 minutes! That is crazy! The hallways parking lot and elevator were filthy. Completely un kept. We stayed on the 2 second floor carpet is a tripping hazard. And there were flies. Once in our room there was 2 towels and 2 pillows. The floor was unswept. And dirty. Walking around the hotel room my socks were black. The bathroom smelt of mold. The bath and... read more

The room had several things that needed repair, towel bar hanging by one end, large leak on ceiling, no hand towels or washcloths, one tiny shampoo,

Never stay "Extended Stay American Suites"! Got into San Jose late, make a reservation online at 11:15pm. When I got there only a security guard was behind the desk and he said he had no authorization to check people in. He said the person had left for the night. There was one other person there who was in the same situation and a third showed up who also was not allowed to check in. I got on the phone and talked a Hotel.com rep but she could not help me.
