Really bad service at front desk, rude receptionist

This was our first stay at this hotel. It was one night, and though the front desk man was friendly, happy to tell us about our view, he didn’t give us any info regarding our room. We had know idea you needed to request everything including a coffee maker. Plus, no grab and go breakfast or coffee were included; which we were not informed about. The hotel is older, and the water pipes seemed to make noises off and on. Bedding was sparse as well.

We liked having the kitchenette and the room was clean. We however were not happy with the staff the night we checked in. There was a kitchenette but not utensils plates and had to ask for it. When we did they didn't give us enough and seemed put out that we even asked for anything. Also we there was no bedding for the pullout bed and when asked we asked for some the staff again acted putout. It took nearly 3 hours to get what we asked for and no pillow. Location of the hotel was nice however I was placed in a room right by the Highway which kept waking me up at night. Also the bed was very sunken in and the pillows were not comfortable making it pretty hard to sleep. Room was big but felt kind of dingy. Went down for breakfast and coffee the next morning and there wasn’t any available even though it said there would be on their website. Overall, got the job done but wouldn’t be returning

horrible booking horrible experience mostly due to the hotels.com app & the hotel itself not being in direct communication. for whatever reason i was not able to stay at the room that was booked & was denied a room but the app fully charged my account.

No service, no cleaning this time, no breakfast or coffee but still charge the same price without any discount.
